Dog travel, done right

Take your dog abroad — with the paperwork done right

Tell us your dog, your route and your travel date. We build the exact, up-to-date, dated checklist to travel legally — microchip, rabies, titer timing, vet and government certificates, tapeworm and airline rules — keep your documents in one place, and remind you before anything expires. Every rule is verified against official government sources.

Everything you need to travel with your dog

A dated, step-by-step checklist

Every requirement in the right order, each with the exact date to complete it — worked backwards from your travel day so nothing is left too late.

Country-to-country rules

Microchip, rabies vaccination and waiting periods, titer tests, USDA/vet health certificates, tapeworm treatment and entry restrictions — for your specific route.

Airline pet policies

Cabin vs. cargo, crate rules, breed and heat embargoes — layered on to your plan when you tell us who you're flying with.

A secure document vault

Store your dog's microchip, rabies and titer certificates, health forms and permits in one place — ready whenever you're asked for them.

Expiry & deadline reminders

We watch every date — vaccination boosters, titer windows, certificate validity — and nudge you well before anything lapses.

Verified against official sources

Every step links to the government source it's based on, with a "last verified" date. Rules change — the CDC changed US dog-import rules twice in two years — so we re-check them and keep yours current.

Frequently asked questions

How far ahead should I start planning to travel with my dog?

It depends on the route. Trips within the US–EU–UK area usually need a few weeks (mainly the 21-day wait after the rabies vaccination). Strict rabies-free destinations like Australia and Japan need around 6–7 months because of the rabies titer test and its 180-day waiting period.

Does my dog need a rabies titer (blood) test?

Not for travel between listed low-risk countries such as the US, UK and EU. It's required for strict rabies-free countries like Australia and Japan, and for dogs coming from high-risk rabies countries.

Does my dog have to be microchipped?

For almost all international travel, yes — and the microchip must be fitted before the rabies vaccination, or the vaccination won't count. SerendiLoop flags this for you if your dog isn't chipped yet.

Can any breed travel?

Some destinations restrict or ban certain breeds (for example the UK's banned types), and many airlines limit snub-nosed breeds. SerendiLoop warns you if your dog's breed may be affected for your route.

Is SerendiLoop official or legal advice?

No. We give clear, up-to-date guidance and link every step to its official government source, but you should always confirm the current rules with the relevant authority before you travel.
